Course Objectives This course aims to educate the students with basic concepts about supply chain, the components of supply chain, understanding the problems and decision areas concerning it, successful supply chain planning and managing.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Express the supply chain and logistic concepts,
  • Define the supply chain planning and management,
  • Identify the components of supply chain,
  • Determine the possible problems that may arise at the supply chain
  • Relate between the strategies related the supply chain and technological developments.
Course Description This course is consisted of supply chain activities and management issues. Introduction to physical distribution and logistics, logistics systems, order management and customer service, distribution centres and warehouses, logistics costs, third-party service and choice and improvement of supply, demand management, quick response, strategic alliances and performance measurements will be focused.
