Course Objectives To improve the knowledge of students’ about maternal-child health and first aid.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Define the factors affecting maternal and child health around the World and Turkey.
  • Evaluate the parameters of maternal and child health.
  • Explain fertilization and fetal development.
  • Define the communicable and chronical diseases of children.
  • Describe the emergency and first aid practices in children.
  • Define contraception methods in reproductive period.
Course Description Maternel and Child Health, Pregnancy, Labour, Puerperium, Pediatric diseases, Pediatric infectious diseases, Pediatric emergency, Basic life support, First aid in children, Contraception.
