Course Objectives | This course aims to introduce the basic concepts used in the field of health psychology. Research and methodology applied in health psychology research and health-threatening behaviors (such as smoking, malnutrition, excessive alcohol consumption), the effects of stress on the disease, adaptation to chronic diseases, and coping with terminal illnesses will be discussed. |

Course Description | The aim of this course is to introduce students to health behaviors, disease perception and adaptation, the relationship of stress with illnesses, adaptation to chronic, progressive and fatal diseases, and research methods used in the field of health psychology, which are the main study subjects of health psychology. |
