Course Objectives | This course aims to introduce the basic concepts used in the field of health psychology. Research and methodology applied in health psychology research and health-threatening behaviors (such as smoking, malnutrition, excessive alcohol consumption), the effects of stress on the disease, adaptation to chronic diseases, and coping with terminal illnesses will be discussed. |

Course Description | The aim of this course is to introduce the basic concepts of health psychology which includes illness, adaptation to illness, health related quality of life, health behaviors and basic research methods that widely applied in health psychology. |
