Course Objectives The general aim of this course is to gain a basic insight into the value of counseling, to teach how and in what situations counseling works, and to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to be active in this process.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • will be able to explain the similarities and differences between different learning processes.
  • Will be able to identify concrete learning situations by learning processes.
  • Will be able to discuss the basic procedures for producing habituation, classical, and instrumental conditioning.
  • Will be able to describe the associative structures thought to underlie conditioning effects and the principles that govern association formation.
  • Will be able to discuss the procedures for complex cognitive learning phenomena.
Course Description The content of this course includes the general principles of learning. In relation to that theoretical and practical issues will be discussed about the habituation, sensitization, classical conditioning, operant conditioning and their applications.
