Course Objectives This course aims to provide students entry level knowledge about the macro level market economics and to improve their ability to analyze various economic approaches.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to explain basic macroeconomic principles, key macroeconomic variables and measures of these variables
  • Will be able to explain the basic relations between variables such as national income, unemployment, budget deficit, money supply, interest rate and trade deficit.
  • Will be able to explain how the monetary and fiscal policies affects the economy
  • Will be able to explain what the functions of money and measures of money supply are,
  • Will be able to explain the effects of international economic and financial relations on economy
Course Description This course includes the explanation of macroeconomic terms, and the analysis of general economic conjuncture in unemployment and national income headings.
