Course Objectives The purpose of this course is to teach students the terms and documents used in international trade.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to use the contractual relationships formed in international trade transactions.
  • Will be able to describe an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the terminology used in international trade, with particular emphasis on international commercial terms of trade (Incoterms 2020).
  • Will be able to use key commercial documents generated in an international transaction.
  • Will be able to explain the underlying legal framework that supports international trade transactions.
  • Will be able to determine the sources of information on international business transactions and apply this information in the workplace.
Course Description The content of this course comprises international trade contracts, international trade terms in the framework of Incoterms 2020 and key documents of an international trade transaction.
