Course Objectives The aim of this course is to create a basic knowledge base on competition law and to provide the use of detailed information about the Turkish competition Law.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Describe the notion of competition, actions, restrictive and prohibitive agreements and basic notions such as abuse of dominant position.
  • Discuss the purpose of the competition regulations which emphasize the need of regulation in product and service market
  • Question controlling and prevention of abuse of dominant position by an enterprise
  • Compare enterprises and associations of enterprises in competition law
  • Solve the problems on competition law and unfair competition
Course Description In the course, basic concepts of competition law, aims and basic principles of competition law, results of violating competition law rules.
