Course Objectives The aim of this course is to create a basic knowledge base on Turkish Constitutional Law and to provide the use of detailed information about the Turkish Constitution.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Understands the basic concepts of Constitutional Law
  • Have an idea about the legal importance of the Constitution
  • Learn the basic concepts of constitutional law.
  • Acquires a certain knowledge about the functioning of Turkish public administration in general terms.
  • Understands the basic principles of the Turkish Constitution
  • Learns the duties and powers of the basic organs of the state.
  • Learns the legal processes related to the recognition and protection of fundamental rights and freedoms of the individual.
Course Description In the course, basic concepts of constitutional law, aims and basic principles of constitutional law, institutional structure and functioning of the organs of Turkish public administration, individual rights and freedoms.
