Course Objectives | The aim of the course is to evaluate the situations / individuals dealt with correctly by a lawyer and make judgments without ignoring the ethical values and to the ability to solve the ethical problems and to cope with these problems. |

Course Description | In this course, the concepts of "ethics", "morality", "public ethics" and "judicial ethics", practical methods of analyzing and evaluating whether a behavior or action is ethical or not, the historical and philosophical foundations of judicial ethics, the universality of judicial ethics principles, national and international sources, the structure and functioning of the Supreme Court of Appeals Advisory Board on Judicial Ethics, developments in comparative law on judicial ethics, how judicial ethics principles are interpreted and evaluated in the case law of domestic and foreign high courts and the European Court of Human Rights will be discussed. |
