Course Objectives The aim of this course is to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills about conducting and interpreting 12-lead ECG analysis.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • explain the heart conduction system,
  • explain waves in 12-lead ECG,
  • detect rhythm disturbances on ECG,
  • detect acute myocardial infarction on ECG,
  • determine blocks on ECG,
  • determine hypertrophy on ECG.
Course Description In this course, information about waves in 12-lead ECG, properties of these waves, leads, rhythm reading, abnormal rhythm recognition, ECG reading and interpretation in pathological conditions will be discussed.
