Course Objectives At the end of this course, it is aimed to integrate the current evidence-based theoretical knowledge learned in women's health and child health nursing courses into patient care in clinical practice.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • decide on the appropriate nursing diagnoses by analyzing the data of the individuals whom they care about in child/women's health,
  • explain the reasons of nursing diagnosis by using physiopathology knowledge in nursing care of children / women,
  • apply nursing interventions which they determine in the care of children/women
  • use the knowledge and skills learned in the field of child and women's health in the trainings to be given to healthy / sick individuals and families,
  • use evidence-based guidelines in the care of children / women,
  • act in accordance with legal and ethical issues in nursing care,
  • evaluate the effects of pediatric / gynecological diseases on patients and families.
Course Description This lesson contains the development of nursing care management in gynecology, obstetrics and pediatric wards and its association with theoretical knowledge.
