Course Objectives It aims that the students integrate of current evidence-based theoretical knowledge in internal medicine nursing and surgical diseases nursing courses into patient care in clinical practice.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • apply appropriate nursing interventions in the field of internal medicine and surgical nursing by analyzing the patient's data.
  • explain the reasons of nursing interventions by using physiopathology knowledge in nursing care given to patients with internal and surgical diseases problems.
  • evaluate the effects of surgical interventions on patients and family.
  • evaluate the effects of internal diseases on patients and family
  • use the knowledge and skills acquired in the field of internal surgery and surgery in trainings to be given to healthy / sick individuals and families.
  • use up-to-date evidence-based practices in patient care.
Course Description Internal and surgical diseases nursing fields; Neurosurgery, Urology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Neurosurgery, Internal Medicine and Internal Polyclinics, Clinics, Gastroenterology, Chest Diseases, Cardiology, Neurology, Dermatology, Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Internal Intensive Care, Hemodialysis, ECG and Endoscopy , ENT, Emergency Departments, Operation Theater and Intensive Care, and theoretical knowledges
