The aim of the Economics Masters Program is to furnish graduates with the konowledge and skills required for high quality scientific analysis, research and application for a successful career in the public and private sectors. Graduates are candidates for high level careers in the public and private sectors who have a strong command of microeconomics, macroeconomics and the current debates in economics; who have an advanced level of knowledge and background to contribute to current debates; and who can apply advanced quantitative and econometric methods. In addition, graduates gain skills to articulate their research to national and international audiences both in writing and orally and have the qualifications to continue on to Ph.D. programs in economics or related disciplines.
