Important Explanation About GEC Courses

In order to graduate, students of the Department of Accounting and Auditing must take 4 courses from the GEC (General Education Courses) POOLs:

  • 1 course from "Social Sciences - C" pool: Art and Communication

  • 1 courses from "Social Sciences - B" pool: Humanities and Social Sciences

  • 1 course from "Social Awareness and Ethics" pool,

  • 1 course from "Innovation and Entrepreneurship" pool.

Graduation Credit

A minimum of 240 ECTS credits is required for graduation from the Accounting and Audit Program. Elective courses of 42 ECTS were predicted in the Accounting and Audit Program plans. Students must complete their elective courses to provide a total of 240 ECTS. Otherwise, they will be deemed to have not fulfilled the valid conditions to graduate from the program.

Elective Courses

There are 8 elective courses in the curriculum of the Accounting and Auditing Program. In order to graduate, students must take 4 courses in the department, 4 courses among the university.

Applied Administrative Sciences Skills Development Course will be counted as 3 elective courses, 2 of which are among the university and 1 is in the department.
