Nurses are responsible for planning, organizing, applying and evaluating the services designed for protecting the health of families and societies. Moreover, nursing is the combination of art and science, which is also responsible for the education of the competent work force of the profession. Therefore, “Nursing” is an important and critical health profession in today’s dynamic world and nursing” exists in all areas where people present.
Nursing Department is established in the Faculty of Health Science, in Izmir University of Economics, which is the first Foundation University of Aegean Region. All the students who graduated from Nursing department will have “Nurse” title and addition to this, you will have the opportunity to work in various fields.
Our department aims to respond to the increasing needs of nurses on national and international grounds with a training plan which is coordinated to the Bologna process and shaped according to the needs of health care areas.
